We have recently purchased a BLM permit to offer trips on Oregon's John Day River. Price Helfrich, Aaron's grandfather, ran the first notable trip down the John Day in 1939. We are proud to continue running trips on Oregon's longest undamed river.

Tips & New Stuff
1. Rafters should dress in layers, NO cotton.
2. Flyfisherman can use "albolene" unscented ladies makeup remover as a fly floatant.
3. Guides will gladly accept any gratuities you may wish to extend for a job well done.
Women-Only Trips
We are proud to announce that we will be offering women only trips. Our competent female guides have a lot of river experience. These trips can be scheduled by calling in advance.
